Coal Based Activated Carbons
Coal based activated carbons are produced by extrusion from crushed mineral coal and adhesion agent (finished product may be granules, crushed material or powder). Due to increased mechanical strength compared to wood based activated carbons, the coal based activated carbons may be used in adsorbers of different sizes with stationary, moving or fluidized layer of adsorbent.
